A native Washingtonian, I am a 1980 graduate of Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing (Portland, OR). In 1989 I received my BSN from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center, (San Antonio, TX). With CRRN and CCM accreditations, my years of nursing focused on brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation, and geriatric medical case management.
In 1998, while at home with a small child, I began transcribing for a physician as a way to help support my family. More thank two decades and thousands of transcripts later, the primary goal of Shepard Transcription remains — excellent, nuanced customer service with a timely delivery of a high quality work product.
AAERT certification signifies I meet the industry standard for transcription of court proceedings. My health care experience provides an understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses.
Years of experience have led to the most efficacious manner of getting significant information from voice mail, text messages, and social media before the court.
My name is Pippa Shepard. About 10 years ago, I was found under a dumpster near Wright Park in Tacoma and was adopted by a family who cared for me for five years. When they took a job overseas, I couldn’t go with them. Ms. Shepard was shown my picture on someone else’s social media and adopted me. I am in charge of managing the office, accounts receivable, and security. I am not allowed to do filing – no thumbs. Since I have been on the job, Shepard Transcription LLC has never been invaded by marauding squirrels. Or pterodactyls. I have an excellent track record.
